This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the global architecture and design firm, strengthening its presence in Europe and opening up exciting opportunities in the vibrant Romanian market.They redesigned the Raheen library of Australian Catholic University with the aim of creating an attractive space for students where they could feel relaxed, inspired, and productive. They claim to have been inspired by book shapes when designing this atypical library design.
Initially, the building had two levels and was designed by the same architecture firm. Currently, it has three levels, which led to a complete reconfiguration of the interior spaces. The furniture is both fixed and mobile, offering a very wide range of layout possibilities depending on needs – individual workspaces, common areas, conference rooms, etc.
Until we benefit from such a space in Romania, all that remains is to draw inspiration from the work areas arranged within library bodies for our own apartments, as it is a wonderful solution for saving space. Whether you set up a workspace or create an open, upholstered cube for reading.
