Anyone who wants to buy a new house or is unhappy with their current home always thinks about what needs they would have and how they could change or improve those spaces in the house that don't please them at all.

This was exactly the problem Brit faced, from House Updated, until she decided to browse through more furniture catalogs, of interior design and consult some specialized websites, after which she decided what her walk-in closet would look like.

Inspiration came from some IKEA catalogs, where certain hallways and clothing storage spaces were featured, and Brit didn't hesitate and got to work. She purchased all the necessary materials and began redesigning the interior design of her closet in her bedroom.

The first thing she realized was that she was lucky to have such a generous space, considering she lives in a house built in 1924, located in Seattle, United States of America.

However, the space still seemed small and the storage compartments were not enough, so the necessary changes were made. Brit wanted to preserve the charm of this old house but bring the level of organization up to modern standards.

Together with her husband, they opted for two separate spaces for clothes, one for in-season clothes and one for out-of-season clothes. They changed the colors, refreshed the wood by sanding it well and giving it a new shine, and the results are commensurate with the effort made.

To offer an element of contrast and to bring the 1920s back to life, the window frame was painted completely black, and the antithesis between it and the rest of the closet is a success!
