As is our custom, when we find an interesting unconventional space, we are quick to present it to you.
Sometimes, people are lucky enough to peek into the offices of the world's most successful companies, such as Google, Adobe, Microsoft and many others, or even into the homes of top managers who grace the front pages of newspapers worldwide, such as Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Facebook, Rihanna and others.
The Instagram offices are located in San Francisco, relatively close to the Adobe company offices we discussed recently, and were designed by the award-winning studio Geremia Design.
The first impression left by this design is the correct one: the designers stayed true to the Instagram brand and opted for a retro aesthetic in neutral colors, adding personality with memorable accessories derived from Instagram's graphic elements.
Perhaps the most beautiful thing about this design is the explosion of natural light. The designers chose to take advantage of the space and window layout, using natural light as much as possible instead of relying on fixtures. For the lighting system, they opted for industrial-style accessories, well-matched with the furniture in the rooms they serve.
The primary materials used both in décor and furniture are natural wood and leather to maintain consistency with the Instagram aesthetic.
A nice detail worth mentioning is that the kitchen also has a mobile cabinet for drinks, coffee cups, glasses, and tea to be more accessible during extended meetings or after-hours parties.
