Typically, kitchen design doesn't follow strict rules; everyone arranges their furniture and appliances according to their preferences and the size of the available space.

However, there are some exceptions, such as the refrigerator. To prevent it from deteriorating quickly, it's good to consider some useful tips regarding its placement.

Therefore, we recommend not placing the refrigerator near the microwave oven or close to the stove or cooktop. The heat emitted by these appliances will damage the refrigerator. Instead, you can consider the following positioning: the three main elements, the stove, refrigerator, and sink should be placed in three different corners of the kitchen, thus forming a triangle between them.

If there isn't enough space, the stove and sink can be on one side, while the refrigerator is on the other.

It is equally important that the refrigerator does not stand directly in the sunlight. Otherwise, it will overheat and work twice as hard to cool, implicitly consuming more electricity.

Also, for the refrigerator to open easily, leave enough space between the wall and furniture. If you like large refrigerators, such as those with two doors, make sure you have a place to put it and that the space is spacious enough. If your kitchen space does not allow for its placement, you can move it to the hallway.

Very important: do not cover the refrigerator and leave some space between the refrigerator and the wall for efficient ventilation of the appliance.
