But let's see some words that name elements of a house.
As you know, the basic terms are inherited from Latin, for example: Lat. casa gave Rom. casa. Lat. fenestra gave Rom. fereastră. Lat. porta gave Rom. poartă. And others.
To the list of Latin words inherited by all Romance languages, murus must be added, which meant the defensive wall of a city, in opposition to paries, which meant the wall of a house. Mur has been preserved only in the Aromanian dialect.
In its place we have zid, a Slavic word borrowed along with other terms from Slavonic or Turkish, during the period when house construction evolved (for example: acaret, geam, tavan, calcan..etc).
It is worth noting that Romanian has the name for a house builder, zidar, from Slavic, but few Romance languages retain Latin words for a builder: Italian has muratore from muro. All other languages have borrowed the respective terms: Portuguese has alvanel, from Arabic al-banna - builder.
