Are you looking for ideas to decorate your studio apartment? The designers at Geometrium propose a project today for a 37 square meter space decorated in a modern and functional way that you can also be inspired by.
Opening up a small space is not easy. It's important to create the necessary functions so that the space doesn't seem cluttered. Most of the time, the bedroom is the one that is sacrificed, there not being enough space for its arrangement. That's why sometimes it's integrated into the context of a single room, where there is both a living room, an office and storage spaces.
In our case, the young owner accepted the unconventional idea of the designers to integrate the bed into a platform on which a conversation area is arranged. This way, he doesn't have to sleep on an extendable sofa, but in a more comfortable place.
The decorated space is Scandinavian-inspired with plenty of white, bright areas and minimalist decor, adapted to the beneficiary's lifestyle. Thus, for evenings and meetings with friends, Geometrium implemented a projector system to recreate the feeling of a cinema.
Instead of armchairs or chairs, they opted for poufs that can be moved anywhere in the room when friends are visiting.
The bioethanol fireplace reminds of Scandinavian interiors and gives a comforting atmosphere to the interior. The perspective end of the room is outlined by a gray accent wall with a shelf supporting paintings and a suitable lamp for ambient lighting.
The balcony was designed as a work area on one side, with a mini-desk made from a countertop and yellow shelf, and on the opposite end, as a relaxation space. The idea of the platform in the living room is also taken over here, obviously on a smaller scale, with useful storage spaces.
The kitchen arrangement took up this idea of socializing and relaxation. The 11 square meter space allowed for the arrangement of a dining area and a relaxation zone by the window. Thus, you can cook alongside friends in an informal but comfortable space. The cooking area is compact, the furniture design maintaining a minimalist and unitary line, with built-in appliances.
