Yucca is the tree you can have in your apartment. Yucca, the tree of life, is an exotic appearance here, but nonetheless very popular. Originally from Mexico, Yucca does well indoors, but loves summer sun and heat, which is why it refuses to bloom anywhere else but outdoors.
Yucca was called the tree of life by the Maya people, who were the ones who discovered that the plant is both medicine and food. Yucca can survive in dark rooms, but the absence of light makes it a difficult plant. In an apartment it can grow over one meter tall, outdoors it can exceed two meters (or more, depending on the variety).

Yucca has a thick, woody stem, and its leaves are similar to those of a palm tree. Yucca flowers are white or yellow on the central stalk of the plant. Yucca that lives outdoors (best in pots because it cannot withstand winter frosts and must be moved), needs plenty of light, although it also adapts well to partial shade.
If they don't get enough light, Yucca leaves turn yellow. In summer, you can take the pot outside, onto the balcony or in the yard, and if the temperatures are too high, you can sprinkle the leaves with a little water. It is recommended not to wet the leaves if the plant is in the sun, as this can cause burns.
Yucca tolerates heat, but it cannot withstand temperatures below zero degrees. It can stay indoors during the winter in rooms where the temperature does not drop below freezing, ideally 4-6 degrees.
