For this 48 square meter apartment, the beneficiaries desired a bright and comfortable layout. The space will not be permanently inhabited, so the emphasis was placed on common areas rather than storage.
The entire design was conceived as minimally as possible to achieve the harmonious integration of the main functions: the living room and kitchen. Indeed, the two zones form a harmonious whole. The chosen color palette emphasizes neutrals, light colors that amplify the space and enhance its brightness. Color accents bring an extra touch of joy to the room.
For the kitchen, a linear, compact layout proved to be the best approach. Appliances are built-in to enhance the unified character of the design. Glossy fronts in a pleasant olive green hue were used, while a composite countertop resembling granite completes the color palette. The space between the cabinets is highlighted by a custom-made print.
A small glass partition separates the kitchen area from the living room.
The sofa and bookcase form the simple decor of the living room. Lighting plays an important role through various scenarios outlined within the space. Suspended fixtures, table lamps, floor lamps, or accent lights directed towards decorations offer the design multiple benefits. Curtains add to the decor with a floral motif print.
This space has two bedrooms, one small one for the parents and one for children furnished with two beds. The master bedroom is practically a narrow room where the bed is the main and only piece of furniture. For the children's room, the floral print theme from the kitchen area was reused, with small storage spaces and perpendicularly arranged beds.
The key word for the bathroom is functionality, with storage areas, including one for the washing machine.
