Designed by the A. Masow studio from Russia, this magnificent glass house is a modern take on a treehouse. The circular three-story building will be constructed around a 12-meter fir tree. A cylindrical axis and a circular staircase will incorporate the trunk and branches, allowing residents to be immersed in nature while simultaneously anchored to it.
Regarding this house, Aibek Almasov from A. Masow Design Studio explains: "The client is a 38-year-old businessman. He wants to create a home for a couple, a place where you can sit with a friend and discuss ideas and philosophies. The house needs to be something that can develop someone spiritually and creatively.
According to the architects, the house will be built in the mountainous Almaty region of Kazakhstan, with the treehouse reaching an estimated price of $375,000, including design, materials, and land.
The A. Masow treehouse is scheduled for completion this year. It will be constructed from metal columns, gypsum board panels, concrete and wood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The only potential problem with this very beautiful forest house could be a lack of privacy – sitting on the couch and observing a group of hikers pressed against the window looking at you.
