More order, more space, a minimalist look and feel, airy? Every day you make new plans for your home, but you never seem to be able to organize everything. Luckily, the redecorating process is always a fun one. And you don't have to put in extraordinary effort, just follow some simple rules. Want more? You can with very little!

Nowadays, our modern heroes are people who manage to create amazing things, with a huge impact on their community, using as few resources as possible. And this rule applies to any field, whether we're talking about cooking, fashion, beauty or design.

And since we know that a busy period is approaching, with many reunions with friends – which you guessed it, involve small organization plans – today we propose you discover how you can apply the "Less Is More" principle when it comes to decorating a festive table.

#1 Use a limited color palette.

Even if you're tempted to use red, yellow, green, purple and dozens of other colors, it's best not to overload the table chromatically. Use light shades (warm tones, pastels) and, in case you feel the need for a pop of color, choose a detail that stands out – cutlery, vases or maybe even more colorful napkins.

#2 Pay attention to textures, shapes and materials.

For example, don't combine matte textured plates with glossy textured plates – usually, matte ones look sophisticated and are suitable for slightly more formal events. Play with materials and textures (wood and glass, for another example) only to the extent that the final decor is not chaotic.
