The design of this 2-bedroom apartment is done in a Scandinavian style, appealing to young nonconformists who are always on the go, passionate about their jobs and travel, but also value relaxation time at home or weekend evenings with friends in the living room.
For this project, designers had a space of 60 square meters at their disposal, more than half of which is allocated to the mixed living and kitchen area.
The living room is divided into two zones. There is a relaxation zone where the essential piece of furniture, the sofa, is L-shaped and highlighted by decorative elements with small pops of color: decorative pillows and a small gallery of frames.
Instead of a television, a video projector was chosen. So, if you have a free wall in front of the sofa, with a projector you can create a mini-cinema in the living room.
The second zone of the living room is a workspace. With a mini-library and a desk that maintains the modern concept of the entire apartment, designers have created a pleasant work space. The element of color in this area is the chair, whose bright yellow is impossible to miss in contrast to the neutral tones of the room.
The bookcase also acts as a "mask" for the entrance door. Created from wood, it can be a solution for apartments that do not have an entryway hall, or for small apartments when you want to save space.
The kitchen is partially delimited by two wall sections. On these, a decorative wallpaper and a functional one imitating a chalkboard were applied, where the owners can leave messages.
While in the living room the predominantly neutral colors were combined with warm tones of yellow and pink, in the kitchen, the Scandinavian style is more nuanced through shades of brown, black and gray.
The bedroom is a bright one, with white Roman drapes that pleasantly filter the light. As materials, we find wood for furniture items and metal for decorative ones. The color scheme is maintained, with few accents of ochre and green.
