Warm season brings with it, besides many pleasant moments, the most annoying insects: mosquitoes. Whether we are on the terrace, balcony, yard, or we are at the barbecue or fishing, as evening falls, these little vampires appear, driving us crazy with their bites.
There are many ways to get rid of them, be it sprays, various lotions, devices, or even certain phone applications that keep these unwanted guests at bay.
Despite all this, we will present you with one of the simplest and cheapest solutions to get rid of mosquitoes: build a trap from a two-liter plastic bottle.
To make this trap, you need the following materials and tools:
A two-liter plastic bottle;
500 grams of water;
50 grams of sugar;
A little yeast;
Knife;
Scotch tape.
The steps you need to take are as follows:
Cut the plastic bottle following the instructions in the image. Make sure the cut is smooth and even;
Put water, sugar, and yeast into the bottle;
Cover the container with the top part of the bottle, after making sure the cap is removed. It is very important that the mouth of the bottle does not touch the water level;
