What this woman from Palestine has achieved is a message of peace that is spreading around the world, showing that even from all the chaos and violent confrontations taking place between the armed forces of Israel and Palestine, beautiful things can be born with a little ingenuity.
The local woman from the small village of Bilin, located near the de facto capital of Palestine, Ramallah, planted a small flower garden that grows inside tear gas grenades, collected after clashes between the Israeli army and Palestinian locals.
The flowers are grown on a piece of land reclaimed by Palestine two years ago, following a process that led to the relocation of the security fence built by the Israeli authorities. Due to the numerous armed clashes, the woman who plants and grows these flowers does not lack materials through which to convey this natural message of peace.
Some grenades are placed directly in the ground, while others have wires tied to them to be hung on poles and fences, offering an extremely pleasant sight to all those who live in or pass through the area.
Given the beauty of these arrangements made from objects of conflict and war, more and more designers are choosing to use similar pieces in creating very captivating artistic creations, both for indoors and outdoors.
On the other side of the border, an Israeli artist creates sculptures in the shape of roses from the metal resulting from rockets launched by Palestinian extremists.

Each grenade is watered with water, considering the arid climate of the area.
