Let's open the GalleryWe are talking about a three-room apartment with an area of 79 square meters. The beneficiaries wanted a home inspired by classic interiors, a fireplace, cheerful colors and a large table for festive moments or those spent with family and friends.
The design team they collaborated with came up with a proposal suitable for the space of a block, so that their wishes could be fulfilled, but also functionality preserved.
Faithfully reproducing styles in the limited spaces of apartment blocks is difficult to achieve. There is a risk of overloading with furniture or decorations, which can be unpleasant and not at all efficient for living.
Therefore, specialists often prefer to take over only a few specific elements of the respective style, which they integrate into the design so as to obtain a harmonious, functional and comfortable space for living. And in the case of this apartment, the designers preferred a classic-modern approach, adapted to the times and contemporary living requirements.
To enlarge the living area, some space was taken from the hallway, and the kitchen was moved into the newly created perimeter (the dotted lines in the apartment sketch show the modifications made to the partitions). The beneficiary likes to cook, so he wanted a closed kitchen. Next to it is the dining area with 6 seats (which can be extended).
The living room area is, by far, one of the most successful designs we have encountered. The classic inspiration is rendered in the form of symmetry of the bookcase bodies placed on either side of the TV area. The false fireplace completes the focal point of the room.
It is worth mentioning pieces such as the sofa and the two armchairs, which, although they do not belong to the same collection, fit into the context created. In addition, the rug, decorative pillows, paintings, chandelier and lamps transform the decor into a refined one, with good taste.
The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for cooking and efficient storage. Its design follows a more modern line, with plenty of white and metro-style ceramic tiles. The kitchen closes with sliding doors with windows. This allows some natural light to enter here as well.
