Filling: Optional, if you want a thicker and softer rug. You can use cotton batting, foam or even old clothes filled with stuffing.
Steps to follow:
Cutting the fabrics: Cut the fabrics into long, narrow strips, about 2-3 cm wide. The narrower the strips, the denser the rug will be.
Creating the pattern: Draw the desired shape for the rug on paper. It can be round, square, rectangular or even an abstract shape.
Assembling the rug:
Braiding method: Braid the fabric strips together, creating a pattern to your liking.
