Fashion enthusiasts, designers, entrepreneurs and simple visitors participated last weekend in Creativo, a unique concept on the Romanian market, organized by Atelierele Ilbah, which brought together over 30 free workshops on clothing design, counseling and personal development, as well as demonstrations of machines and equipment used in the textile industry.
Those present at The Ark were able to enjoy sewing and embroidery workshops, tailoring according to patterns or draping, up to counseling for starting a business in the field, fashion, public relations or styling. In total, over 400 people participated in the free workshops and experienced what it means to work in this fascinating field.
“We wanted to offer a glimpse into the life of a designer, what it means to be part of the fashion industry, whether we are talking about tailoring, clothing design, design or how you manage to tell your story.
With the help of our partners, we want to provide real support to those who want to start a business in the field and offer an alternative to the invasion of made in China products,” said Vlad Iliescu, general manager Atelierele Ilbah.
All visitors at Creativo were able to participate in demonstrations offered with sewing machines, overlocking, embroidery and craft, domestic and industrial, top-of-the-range on the market provided by Bro Rom, the official importer of Brother machines.
In addition to the marathon of workshops, conferences and demonstrations, Creativo visitors were able to admire an exhibition of established designers such as Mirela Diaconu, Razvan Valceanu, Adrian Oianu, but also new brands such as Gina Cas or Maressia. And because designers from the new generation could not miss such an event, over 20 exhibitors delighted with their creations.
Moenra, Atelier Muna, Maison Ilia, Aranjat by Anne, Milena, Pink Amnesia by Iuliana Stanciu are new names in the industry, designers at the beginning of their journey who brought fresh collections to Creativo, funky models, unique pieces or limited edition.
