Easter celebrations are about family, friends, good cheer and, of course, a festive meal.

To create a special atmosphere, here are some DIY arrangement ideas you can make yourself for your Easter table:

Easter-themed baskets from recycled materials:

Do you have empty cans or jars around the house? Paint them in pastel colors or wrap them in colored paper. Then add colored straw, spring flowers (artificial or fresh) and painted eggs. You can use these baskets as holders for cutlery, napkins or sweets.

Candles decorated with eggshells:

Use empty, clean and dry eggshells. Carefully make a small hole at the bottom of the egg to insert the candle wick. Place the egg in a small holder (it could be a saucer or a half walnut shell painted) and pour in the melted wax. Decorate the outside of the egg with ribbons, artificial leaves or glitter.

Egg holders from carrots:

You will need fresh, straight carrots. Cut off the top of the carrot, creating a small indentation. You can then use the carrot as a holder for boiled eggs. For an extra touch of creativity, you can carve bunny ears into the top of the carrot.
