Designed by landscape architecture firm Martha Schwartz Partners, Fengming Mountain Park won the World Landscape Architecture 2014 award for its innovative design. The park stands out through its use of color, geometry, and water to create a vibrant and dynamic space.
Unique elements of the design:
Colorful pavilions: Inspired by the region's mystical mountains, colorful pavilions are strategically placed along the route, guiding visitors towards the commercial center. They offer shade and relaxation during walks.
Water channels: Water is an important element of the Chongqing experience. In the park, water flows from the entrance to the commercial center, utilizing a variety of effects through channels, pools, and water jets.
Terraces: Terraces incorporated along the route offer panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.
