How to Make a Lamp from a Bottle

Remove the labels from the glass bottle. The easiest method is to place the bottle in a container with hot water or hold it under a stream of hot water and clean it manually. Wipe it down, allow it to dry thoroughly, and then you can proceed to the next step.

Purchase the necessary cables, plug, and a socket to secure the bulb. Insert the cable through the hole made in the glass and place each element in its respective position. Secure the lampshade above the glass and the project is complete.

If you use a white bottle, choose a white cord. For a translucent bottle, you can use a black cord. The white cord might be slightly unsightly; however, you can hide it by gluing a textile material onto the glass.
