Original ideas can be implemented at any stage. It all depends on our imagination and how inventive we are. DIY (do it yourself) projects are excellent for summer days when we can explore various options to beautify the space and create original things.
Children love swings. Have you ever thought about how to make one swing out of a chair? Well, now is the time to please them and give them a joy for their summer vacation.
First, choose a sturdy tree in your yard. Then go shopping. Look for ropes and two strong hooks to attach them to the tree. For an extra effect, look for colorful ropes, the little ones will be delighted. Then choose the chair; if none of the old chairs in the house seem suitable for this project, go to antique shops and negotiate a good price.
Or let your neighbors know; those who are renovating will want to get rid of their old furniture.
To give the chair a new face, paint it a cheerful color that children like. You can even involve them in this project. The next step is to remove the legs of the chair and keep only the seat and backrest. Drill holes where the ropes will pass through and then tie them tightly to make sure no accidents happen.
Carefully select the height of the swing so that it is not difficult for children to access.
