Although the Christmas celebration itself is solemn, it is also a warm holiday spent with family where laughter echoes beneath the Christmas tree.

Every year, weeks in advance, we prepare with the most interesting decorations, make endless shopping lists, one bauble, another globe. But what if we learned to make a large part of this year's decorations ourselves?

Today we'll teach you how to make a set of fun owl ornaments that will quickly find their place on the Christmas table among the goodies. Don't think you'll be making any investment. Just remember not to throw away any plastic bottles you have around the house.

So, let's get down to business. You will need:

At least one empty plastic bottle

A sharp knife

Glue and a marker

Watercolors

Cut the plastic bottle as shown in image 2 from the gallery. Mark the spots beforehand to make it easier to create straight sections. Take the two pieces of glass you will use to make the owl and glue them together using adhesive. Remember, the bottom part of the bottle will be the owl's head.

Let dry until the two pieces are well joined together and proceed to painting.
