Furniture retailer IKEA published its figures for the year catalog 2014, which show a 6.45% increase in sales compared to the September 2012 – August 2013 period, according to zf.ro.
In the last 12 months, IKEA was visited by over 3 million people, a number very close to the visitors who crossed the threshold of the Baneasa store in the previous interval. With sales totaling 468 million lei, it results that each IKEA customer spent an average of 145 lei in the store.
13.2 million products were sold, of which 60% were furniture pieces, and the rest accessories and decorations.
