The three-room apartment has 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a generous distribution hall. It was taken over by the Iulia Stiru Interior Architecture team in the "at grey" stage, having a budget of 45,000 euros to transform this real estate property into that much desired "home".

“We took over the apartment when it was at grey, at this stage it was purchased by the beneficiaries. This gave us some freedom in rethinking certain areas such as the kitchen and the master suite, but also in choosing the desired finishes for the walls and flooring.”

The arrangement process was a complex one, including the refurbishment of the electrical installation, repositioning of sanitary object routes, masking of the gas pipe, refurbishment of the gypsum plasterboard ceiling to ensure optimal sound insulation.

The entire process involved many discussions on site, instructions for the teams involved in the project, meetings with the beneficiaries, but the result is up to expectations. The project, started in August 2020, involved two intense weeks of design and then continued with the implementation stage.

The initial kitchen had a classic block configuration, rectangular shape, narrow space. It was successfully adapted to the sociable personality of the owners through a series of modifications: partial removal of the common wall with the living room; optimization of the cooking and relaxation area, the sink area remained hidden, ensuring the necessary intimacy.

The wall in the living room (common with the kitchen) was clad with wood on all sides, having a robust, solid appearance, an optimal support for the television and the built-in electrical sign.

Master Bedroom continues the stylistic line of the entire concept, but it is the area with the greatest impact within the arrangement. The wallpaper with exotic pattern and vibrant colors creates a cheerful, pleasant atmosphere in the context of the modern arrangement.

The master bathroom was reconfigured; for better space optimization they decided to move the entrance door to the bathroom, and the wall towards the bedroom was replaced by a large panel of smart glass that can become opaque at any time with a simple press of a button. Thus, the bathroom now also benefits from natural light penetrating into the bedroom.
