Every summer we wondered how to escape the heat, how to cool down and heroically resist the scorching sun. The cool breeze of summer evenings is priceless and if you are among the lucky ones who have courtyards, then you will feel on vacation at the end of each day.
How? By watching a movie outdoors, surrounded by family and friends, on comfortable mattresses and with lights that create a fairytale atmosphere.
First, you need a large screen and a projector. There are many models of projection screens on the market, but there are also cheap alternatives that you can improvise at home. An example in this regard is the sheet. Choose the place where you will place it, considering the location of the video projector as well.
You can make the screen frame out of wood or PVC pipes which, after attaching the sheet to them, are fixed into the ground or into pots with sand.
Make sure the material is white, without prints and stretched very well on the frame. Another improvised screen can be made from an opaque shower curtain, also in a light color. The advantage is that they already have holes through which you can attach them to the frame.
The projector will connect to a laptop or another video player and to an audio system for an atmosphere as close as possible to that of a cinema. Place special garden lighting fixtures, such as lanterns, or even Christmas tree lights installations. Around the screen or hung from trees, they will turn simple movie watching into a unique experience.
Very important in this arrangement project is to ensure the most relaxing and comfortable places from which you will watch the movie. So, place poufs in front of the screen, mattresses that you can fill with blankets made of cool textures and fluffy pillows or even loungers and hammocks.
