The increasingly polluted environment forces us to constantly rethink the way we live and question how we can limit the destruction of the surrounding environment.
How many times haven't you thrown away paper cups from which you enjoyed your coffee? Have you ever thought about what could be achieved if we recycled them and used them for other practical purposes around the house?
Japanese designers led by Chengyuan Wei came up with an original idea of using these objects, creating a lamp from recycled paper cups. The result is spectacular due to the shape obtained and the unique effect it has when illuminating a room.
Each cup was cut in half lengthwise and then arranged one by one, fixed with hot glue, into an approximately oval shape, like a halved egg. Subsequently, bulbs were attached to the base of the resulting structure, creating a pleasant, graduated light.
Here's a DIY project idea that you can also implement!
