For the past 15 years, this two-bedroom apartment had not seen any improvements, renovations, or even minor rearrangements. The mother and her teenage daughter decided that it was time for the much-desired transformation. And the result exceeded their expectations, and we could even say ours as well. Opening GalleryWhat did they aim for? To create personal spaces for each of them. Thus, they gave up the living room to be transformed into the girl's room. The bedroom remained the mother's space, and the kitchen became their socializing place, welcoming friends or relatives on visits.
To put all the ideas they wanted implemented into practice, they called upon the help of designer Natalia; she helped them outline a modern, elegant design, taking into account the needs of each individual.
The apartment now has a personality outlined in an eclectic style. We will find contrasts between black and gold, geometric motifs, lighting fixtures with clearly defined shapes, combinations of materials – metal, brick, leather – all arranged neatly, without excessive overload; we see these features especially in the mother's bedroom.
For the girl's room, the design leans towards a more discreetly industrial line.
Creating storage spaces was a challenge in this 50 square meter apartment. From the hallway and into each room, Natalia integrated zones to ensure space for clothes, shoes, even the washing machine. Even on the balcony, at both ends, a wardrobe and a dresser were mounted.
Besides paying attention to creating functional spaces, special attention was given to decorating the apartment. One of the first things that catches your eye is the photo wallpaper in the hallway with an urban landscape. The placement of the mirror on the parallel wall to reflect this image is not accidental.
Then, the paintings and accessories found in each room add a touch of originality to this space.
The closed furniture in the kitchen is balanced by finishes in neutral tones, thus maintaining the brightness of the room. The two rows of cabinets on the upper part of the kitchen ensure ample storage.
