We are perhaps all actors in a play directed by… cats. We believe them to be our companions, but in reality they seem to be the true masters of the domestic world.

With silent elegance and a gaze that seems to penetrate beyond appearances, cats make us wonder: who domesticated whom, after all? What are we looking for in their presence? A form of affection, a meaning, a peace? Or just a mirror of our own need for tenderness?

For thousands of years, man has lived alongside cats, but still does not truly understand them. The more we get to know them, the more enigmatic they seem. They do not explain themselves, do not ask permission, do not offer explanations, they simply exist. And in their presence, our world becomes simpler and, paradoxically, deeper.
