Peonies are some of the most beautiful and popular plants in our country, with Romanians developing a true passion for these special flowers over time.

There is a common myth that peonies are very difficult to grow and care for, but this is untrue, especially if you follow all the necessary steps for planting and caring for peonies.

Tulips come in two types: those planted from root stage, which produce a medium-height stem and yield the beautiful flowers well-known to Romanians. These flowers can be cut and placed in a vase, beautifying the décor they are brought into.

The stems of this type of peony dry and fall off during the winter, but the roots remain alive in the ground and will begin to grow again, giving rise to a new plant in the following season, starting in spring.

The second type of peony is closer to a shrub and is planted from the root stage with a woody stem. These peonies are much more resilient and will remain above ground during winter through their woody stems, which will begin to sprout again at the beginning of spring.

Regardless of the type of peonies you choose to plant, you must ensure they have well-fertilized soil and are consistently watered. If you follow these conditions, you will have peonies in your garden for a long time, depending on their maintenance.

We wish you success in planting your admired garden of bujori!
