Formmat is a 100% Romanian furniture brand, presented for the first time by Deltastudio at B IF E-S IM, held at Romexpo between September 19-23, 2015.
The Formmat story began from the desire to revitalize the tradition of furniture making in Romania, together with a local creative team capable of imprinting its technical vision as well as authentic Romanian heritage. Formmat means innovative shapes and materials, author collections, design and 100% Romanian production, at the highest standards.
At B IF E-S IM 2015, the e MO TI ON collection (bathroom and kitchen) was exhibited, which synthesizes two key elements: concern for technological advancement and the idea of movement. The main advantage of the concept is the possibility of continuous personalization by changing the decorative elements attached to the magnetic support.
The collection infuses the home with the latest trends in the fashion industry and was launched with decorative plates signed by designer Marie Nouvelle. The other Formmat collections are on display at the Deltastudio Razoare showroom.
The brand name reflects the concern for the secret connection between form and material, their combination creating unique products. Each Formmat product conveys a passion for wood as well as care for nature, with wood being purchased and processed in perfect compliance with environmental protection standards.
The furniture pieces are designed by a Romanian team consisting of interior architects, product designers and wood craftsmen and are entirely made in the factory in Piatra-Neamt, combining the precision of high-tech machinery with the finesse of manual woodworking operations.
The journey "from log to furniture" is undertaken entirely in this factory, thus raising the products to the highest standards while remaining accessible to the purchasing power in Romania.
Formmat collections include both approaches to the classic style and contemporary reinterpretations, being divided according to area (bathroom/kitchen) and functionality (day/night). The design of each piece celebrates the meeting between beauty, functionality and tactility (carefully finished surfaces that invite direct contact with the product).
Formmat products are aimed at demanding individuals in their everyday life choices: all furniture pieces are built according to ergonomic principles to optimize activities carried out in this space, from high-quality materials (solid wood, painted MDF, Corian and other composite materials), with a keen attention to the smallest details and impeccable technological features.

The wood used in the manufacture of Formmat furniture comes from certified areas where forest exploitation is carefully controlled, in accordance with provisions regarding ecological reconstruction, tree regeneration and care.
