Setting a table for holidays, an anniversary, or a visit from friends you haven't seen in a long time, or other festive occasions, can be a real challenge, especially if you don't know where to start.
Alexa Hotz, the Australian designer specializing in interior design, particularly when it comes to important life events, has decided to offer a complete look, a by-the-book arrangement, and a way your table should be set, in a rustic style.
This look should be considered every time you want to decorate a beautiful table, wanting everyone who comes for dinner to feel extremely comfortable in your home.
Drawing from photographs taken by Kara Rosenlund of small 19th-century cottages, Alexa Hotz decided to inspire through a rustic way of setting a table, extremely charming, which has everything for everyone.
The rustic and traditional factor is given by the solid wood from which the table is made, followed by napkins, glasses, and objects that are usually found in any farmhouse: a bucket, a lantern, a milk jug, and many other small things that matter a lot.
When you want to set the perfect table, you have to consider absolutely everything, from cutlery and plates to the positioning of the table and chairs, to the small decorative elements and not least, the glasses and food.
Every little detail counts, and Alexa Hotz shows us here all the steps and pieces needed to create a rustic ensemble, prepared especially for a feast worthy of a book, which will arouse admiration and joy in all the dear people who come to your table.
