The first edition of the International Festival of Light Spotlight will take place between April 23rd and 25th, and will be held in the central area of Bucharest, on a clearly delimited route: Calea Victoriei, Bd. Regina Elisabeta, the University and National Theatre area.
The purpose of this action is to promote a better public understanding of the central role of light in the modern world. Informs a press release sent to MEDIAFAX.
The festival will be launched with a concert by Robin and the Backstabbers and Alternosfera, on April 23rd, at 8:00 PM, on Franceza Street in the historic center of Bucharest.
Spotlight will illuminate Calea Victoriei from the Central University Library to Nations United Square, turning it into a giant light exhibition.lights Public spaces will be revitalized through interactive installations and light shows.
The idea for the festival arose from the need to align with similar events in major European cities and aims to include Bucharest in the circuit of the most important festivals of its kind. At the same time, Spotlight aims to offer the general public a unique spectacle in Romania.
