For the renovation of his apartment, this young man called upon the help of a design team to transform the 50 square meter space into a modern, more functional one with more personality. Follow along for some details about the project.
Among the important modifications made to the apartment, we mention the removal of the wall between the living room and kitchen, the slight widening of the hallway, and the integration of French doors for access to the living room.
The resulting decor can be described as modern, in neutral, open colors to enhance the brightness of the rooms, with a few more masculine accents, such as gray, pistachio green, or blue, some more saturated, others more diaphanous.
The living area has been designed as a space dedicated to relaxation and socializing where both the host and guests can interact even when cooking. The living room and kitchen are delimited only visually by the positioning of the furniture, the sofa in particular. The decor of the living room was intended to be as simple and uncluttered as possible, and above all, without a TV.
The painting and lamp on the dresser stand out against an excellent blue background. But, among all, the centerpiece is the rug, desired by the beneficiary, as a reminder of his oriental heritage.
In the space intended for the kitchen, the layout follows the same line. The arrangement on two sides allowed for the incorporation of appliances, ensuring optimal space for the worktop. White and the texture of wood at the countertop level keep the decor as bright and airy as possible. The geometries of the brau between the furniture bodies imprint dynamism into the arrangement.
The dining area also deserves attention, being a pleasant, elegant space shaped by attention to detail.
In the bedroom, a restful, quiet atmosphere was created with an optimally chosen color palette. The headboard, decorative pillows, duvet cover, and curtains all contribute through the textures that enrich the decor. The wardrobe for clothes was made to order according to the designer's sketches; the doors with mirrors being an intelligent choice, creating the effect of widening the space.
A small work area was set up by the window.
