Bucharest, nicknamed "Little Paris" during the interwar period, is not lacking in its natural and architectural beauty, even though the city faces numerous challenges regarding green spaces and outdated infrastructure.

However, the new wave of Romanian architects in Bucharest are gradually succeeding, building by building, to beautify the capital of Romania, which approximately 3 million people call "home".

The beauties of Bucharest are worth appreciating and are undoubtedly comparable to the Western beauty of cities in Western Europe, and that is precisely why we rejoice at the fact that young Romanian architects are rising to international standards, demonstrating imagination, creativity, and a sense of aesthetics that is truly exceptional.

Thanks to these talented architects, Bucharest is enriched year after year with new buildings or renovated ones, which make the urban landscape a true delight for any local or tourist in the area.

The Order of Architects in Bucharest awarded prizes to the most beautiful buildings created by the capital's architects, within the framework of the Bucharest Architecture Annual.
