Americans have another reason to rejoice, as the most modern railway in the United States is set to be built this year.
The ultramodern railway, designed by architects, engineers, and landscape architects from SOM, in collaboration with Zyscovich Architects, will be built in the US state of Florida.
This railway will connect the center of Florida to its south, all the way to one of the most popular cities in the world, Miami. SOM and Zyscovich Architects are working together on this large-scale project that will revolutionize rail transport in the United States, as well as the landscape of the entire area where the new railway lines will be built.
The main stations that will be refurbished and included in the All Aboard Florida railway route are Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale, cities that are inundated annually by hundreds of thousands of tourists.
