Everything is permitted in interior design. Nothing is too much or too little as long as it serves a well-defined purpose. Imagination is your best friend and when you let it run free, the result can be truly striking, in the positive sense of the word.

When I found this layout, I couldn't believe my eyes. Literally! Extravagant, eccentric, sophisticated and other such synonyms can be used to describe this house. Belonging to the founder of the online retailer Fab.com, Bradford Shellhammer, the dwelling introduces us into an excessively colorful space with an original mix of styles.

The house has been almost entirely renovated, with every detail carefully considered and selected to create a unique composition in line with Bradford's personality. As he himself states, "it is very important to live through colors. If you don't like colors, I'm very sorry for you!

With 280 square meters and 4 bedrooms, the house's generous space provided the perfect backdrop for this eccentric owner to realize their desired vision. Many of the décor pieces were purchased from fab.com.

Dramatic, powerful, and impactful color combinations are predominant. From the living room to the kitchen, bedroom, and even by the pool, each area is dominated by an association that makes an impact. From red, yellow, black, green, and violet, I can confidently say that nearly the entire color spectrum has been used in this design. The furniture pieces are no less impressive.

Both in design and color, their combination effortlessly draws your eye.

It's amazing how much color can exist on every square meter! Two banana-colored Eames sofas, two armchairs in pure red and blue bearing the signature of great Scandinavian designer Alvar Aalto, graphics in the form of paintings, and two orange lamps, all brought together under a rug with prominent black and white stripes up to halfway and colorful stripes in the other half – that's how we could describe the living room.

The bedroom is decorated in the same tone of drama. Black or dark navy walls, unique decorative elements, two yellow poufs and a zigzag print rug outline a room that you could hardly call a relaxation zone. However, in this arrangement everything is about Bradford's vision and a true talent for creating such unusual compositions.

The aircraft collections displayed across an entire wall, as well as the doll collections, complete this fantastical landscape. But perhaps nothing surpasses the exhibits in the kitchen area. The deer head and stuffed turkey alongside various ceramic pieces translate a rustic influence with a vision interpreted in a downright bizarre way.

And I can't help but mention the bunk beds, like a bunker in the guest rooms.

Without a doubt, this design overflows with the colorful personality of its owner. A unique concept and approach are evident in every single element, making it an incredible space.
