Among the latest projects signed by Paula Dragne Interior Design is this house, not very large but cozy and extremely warm, designed for a young family with a small child.
Opening the GalleryThe owners wanted a relaxing atmosphere, a welcoming space, and maintaining a connection to nature from the outside.
Thus, the interior designer proposed using wood (both as finishing accents on walls, in fixed furniture, and in various small furniture pieces and decorations), a color palette based on shades of green, and decorating certain accent areas with wallpaper featuring nature-inspired motifs.
On the ground floor we find an open space, where all the functions of a living area are harmoniously integrated: living room, kitchen, hallway, dining area. All these areas have been furnished modernly and uniformly, which makes the space appear larger and brighter. A few metal accents and the design of the chosen lighting fixtures hint at an industrial style.
“The house benefits from renewable energy thanks to the photovoltaic system with energy storage. The energy performance is improved by the ventilation system with heat recovery, and the automation of lights and heating installations," Paula tells us enthusiastically.
The night area consists of the master bedroom with its own bathroom and a generous dressing room, and the little girl's room, seemingly straight out of a pastel-colored storybook.
The two bathrooms, the master bathroom with a walk-in shower and the hallway bathroom with a bathtub, were approached differently, each having its own strong personality. The hallway bathroom was designed in light, pastel shades of green and cream, while the master bathroom attracts attention with its vibrant colors and hexagonal tile cladding with exotic floral motifs.
The furnishing was completed in December 2022, just in time to be ready for the winter holidays.
