Elis Pavaje remains committed to protecting the environment and the health of Romanians by using renewable energies and takes a new step towards implementing green sources at its units.

In this context, the company has completed the installation of a photovoltaic system with a power of 390.60 k Wp, at the factory in Arad.

The success represents a new stage on the road to energy independence and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

What are the characteristics of the photovoltaic system in Arad?

The photovoltaic system through which we consistently reduce the degree of use of classic, polluting energy of our factory in Arad is composed of 651 solar panels, 4 on-grid inverters and one hybrid inverter, and a battery system with a capacity of 61.44 k Wh.

The On-Grid system prioritizes injecting the produced energy into internal consumption, while the surplus into the grid, while the Hybrid system prioritizes internal consumption, charging the batteries and only as a last resort injecting into the grid.

Essential consumers such as indoor and outdoor lighting are thus powered, and the grid can be replaced in case of a power outage, using photovoltaic energy and batteries.

Everything is monitored with state-of-the-art management technologies because one of the basic principles of our company is to continuously modernize ourselves in order to offer the best quality standards.

In this way, 35.52% of the annual energy used by the Elis Pavaje factory in Arad will be provided exclusively from renewable, ecological sources.

The initial investment of 1.7 million lei will be recovered in a maximum of 9 years.

Protecting the environment and natural resources, thus protecting the health of our fellow citizens, remains a priority for us, which we strengthen through the investment in Arad, as well as through other achievements at all our factories in the country.

A responsible company means not only quality products and a respectful relationship with employees and customers, but also real involvement to ensure a safe and healthy future for our children. We will continue to invest in green energy and energy efficiency.", said Mr. Emil Goța, General Manager of Elis Pavaje.
