We're talking about such an arrangement today, a house with a unique charm that perfectly synthesizes the personality of its family members: cheerful and full of life, always up for fun.
The mission of the architects from Atelierul de Idei was to bring together all four family members in the common space, each having the possibility to organize their activities in the intimacy of their rooms, but also to spend time together as a family in an area designed for everyone.
Taken over at an early stage, Atelierul de Idei was able to make some notable changes to the project compared to the initial plan. Thus, the ground floor area was reorganized, the closed kitchen was abandoned, and all the functions in the common space were redesigned to optimize the existing living space both functionally and aesthetically.
Currently, the living area brings together an open kitchen towards the living room, connected by a dining area that links the two functions, the living room and a wonderful reading nook with a vast library. The common spaces are harmonized, forming a unitary whole. The kitchen is generous in terms of work space and storage, being a space where you cook with pleasure for and alongside your loved ones.
The design is kept as minimalist as possible given the functions reunited at the level of a single room. Glossy finishes, but especially the generous glazed surface in front of the living area, enhance the volume of the space and visually amplify the room.
The bedrooms on the upper floor take up the existing color scheme from the living room, with each member putting their own stamp on their own space. Discreet decorations, harmoniously integrated workspaces in each bedroom, furniture with a design that combines elegance and functionality.
The entire arrangement overflows with optimism and has something of that fresh air of cheerful and strong colors used here as accents, turquoise and yellow, the final result being one that is bold and unitary.
The kitchen furniture is made of painted MDF, with worktops made of composite material-Corian, executed with the help of Ekero company. The appliances were purchased from Teka.
