With the help of advice from his friend and his brother-in-law, Tao, the dome house built by Steve Areen was completed in just 6 weeks, at a total cost of approximately $9,000. The price for the basic structure of the house was $6,000, and with finishes and complete interior design and furniture purchase, the final price reached $9,000.
Given this very low price for building such a house, most people are advised to choose destinations in developing countries, as construction costs will decrease considerably.
