Although the title might lead you to believe we are talking about a relatively mundane object, the product itself was created with the desire to use genuine, simple materials that we encounter every day.

Created by studio Fild from Kiev, the minimalist lamp is part of the Sustainable Origins collection which aims to create simple, practical pieces using the most basic materials that are constantly accessible. Thus, wood, metal and a textile cable make up this object.

The extremely minimalist design of the lamp is intriguing: a metal bar bent at the end to hold the bulb and a wooden base for support. The textile cord can be customized, allowing the customer to choose from different colors. The lamp is turned on with a sensor located at the base.

The metal structure provides sufficient stability for the lamp; thanks to the long cord, the lamp can be moved to different corners of the room. When not needed, it can be rolled up between two hooks that prevent tangling.
