To the team Blipsz Architecture was commissioned to design an extension for a guesthouse in Odorheiu Secuiesc.

The owner's challenge was for this extension to be in harmony with the surrounding nature, while at the same time offering all the comfort necessary for a family or a group of friends. Thus, each dwelling had to have a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom.

Moreover, the land available to the architects was not very generous due to its slope and orientation towards the sun. The architects came up with the idea of building 4 individual dwellings (bungalows). For this, they had to excavate into the rock in order to bring the entire construction site to the same level.

Through this solution, they managed to meet the owner's requirements while at the same time offering tourists the best view of the landscape.

Inside, each bungalow has an open kitchen in the living room, a bathroom and 2 double beds arranged in an open loft.
