This vacation home is located in the middle of a village in the Austrian Alps, at an altitude of 820 meters, in the middle of Hohe Tauern National Park. The living space of the cabin extends over 230 square meters, the area spread over three floors.
GaleriaCabana was designed and built in 2014 by the Feuersinger Architektur architecture firm. The exterior was built from a combination of natural materials such as wood and stone.
The facade is formed by straight lines which gain a certain rhythm through the horizontal arrangement of massive blocks of natural stone, and overall we can say that the entire construction inspires balance thanks to the proportions, shapes and textures.
The interior is divided into spacious rooms with plenty of natural light and furnished in the same warm and pleasant contemporary style.
Although the roof is made of shingles, this mountain cabin benefits from a simple and at the same time modern exterior design. The interiors have been completely lined with oak wood, the planks providing the layout with a linear design and at the same time a rustic atmosphere that invites you to relax and feel good.
We love the handmade chairs decorated with local traditional motifs.
The bedrooms are located on the ground floor and the second floor, the first floor being occupied by a large living room with an open kitchen. Panoramic windows and the terrace offer stunning views of the nearby mountains. The open-space living room has a fireplace in the middle separating the living room from the kitchen.
Bathroom is decorated with marble tiles and oak wood, and the whole ensemble exudes familiarity, warmth and intimacy.
In conclusion, we can say that this cabin can be the ideal place to spend your vacation, here the owner can enjoy relaxation, disconnection from everyday life but without being isolated from the comfort of the modern world.
We love the elegant simplicity of this cabin, with the harmonious mix between traditional and modern, thus integrating as best as possible into the exceptional natural landscape.
