For the arrangement of her two-bedroom apartment, Claudia opted for a contemporary style with classic influences and elements to add warmth to the home, preferring decorative objects that also have utility.
Located in the Coresi neighborhood in the north of Brasov (a new neighborhood currently under development), the 75 square meter apartment features a spacious living room, a master bedroom with a separate dressing room, a large kitchen, a distribution hallway, a bathroom, a loggia transformed into an office and a charming terrace overlooking the mountains.
“We used wallpaper extensively in several rooms. The wallpaper patterns are different for each room, but the shades are very similar, precisely to create a sense of unity. We are advocates for wallpapered walls because they seem warmer, more beautiful and add elegance to the rooms.”
The color palette is neutral and warm. Predominantly light colors were used: beige, cream, gold, dirty white, contrasted by splashes of color provided by decorative pieces and textile accessories.
Claudia told us that the challenge was to furnish the home quickly and transform an empty, austere apartment into a welcoming home in as short a time as possible. The actual arrangement took about three weeks, with furniture ordered in advance and appliances purchased.
The kitchen furniture, with discreetly milled doors and a classic front appearance, was custom-made at a local company. The sofa in the living room, armchair and some decorative pieces were purchased from Mobexpert.
In an attempt to complete the entire apartment arrangement process within a short timeframe, Claudia confesses that it was hard work requiring a lot of prior organization, but they are ultimately satisfied with the result and the effort made.
