We are always delighted to receive home decor submissions from our readers. Let's learn more about this one in the following lines.

This time, we stop in Bucharest, where we visit Ioana in her studio apartment which she decorated together with her mother, Mirela. A heartfelt project that she chose to share with us.

The studio apartment is located in the Dristor area and its decoration took about 2 months. "I followed a modern and fresh style, in shades of gray and white, which always gives the impression of modernity.

With an area of 35 square meters, the space underwent a complete renovation: "The total cost was around 15,000 euros because I decided to invest in the complete redecoration of the studio apartment, which meant the entire electrical and plumbing installation.

Moreover, the parquet, tiles, and ceramics were replaced, plus I chose the best products for the kitchen and bathroom in terms of sanitary installations and appliances.

Considering the space, it was difficult to place an extendable sofa and it would have become uncomfortable. I believe that a bed cannot be replaced by a sofa in terms of comfort.

I considered that the television should be the attraction of the room, so I decided to place it on an empty wall, covered with a simple wallpaper. It is much easier to watch from the bed and healthier ergonomically (an upright position).

It wouldn't have been highlighted if framed in living room furniture and that area of the room would have been very cluttered. I kept the living room furniture more for a spiritual relaxation area (candles, flowers, books).

My mother chose to build this house from scratch and gave me the opportunity to decorate it as I wanted, actually as we wanted. All the joy behind this heartfelt decoration doesn't lie in things but in us, and in the unique moments spent together as mother and daughter.

The furniture was purchased from Mobexpert, Lem’s, and Casa Rusu.

Congratulations Ioana and thank you for sharing your story with us!
