For today, we set out to delight you with a new decorating story received from our reader, Eugenia. She lives in Alba-Iulia in a 2-room apartment with an area of 55 square meters. The arrangement is nearing completion and she sent us photos of what she has accomplished so far.

Open GalleryThis apartment is her first home. She longed to have a place of her own, a home where she could find herself and, above all, decorate it herself. We must confess that we were pleasantly surprised in a very pleasant way.

The decor is harmonious and created with great taste, and some of the furniture bears her signature - specifically, several pieces of furniture have been restored by her.

How did she envision the arrangement? From the beginning, she knew she wanted a bright, youthful, cheerful and personal space. The apartment is in a new building, and she was able to choose the finishes to her liking (at the time of purchase, the property was still under construction).

Then came the decorating stage. The budget she had left was not a large one, so she tried to manage it in order to create an arrangement as she dreamed. She didn't follow a particular style, but only wanted to shape a home that she would love every time she came home.

She put a lot of heart into decorating this apartment and you can feel it just by looking at the images. The pieces blend coherently in each function, and the decorations personalize every corner of the house, whether we're talking about the entrance hall, kitchen, living room or bedroom.

The kitchen is the first room you see once you step inside; it is practically the heart of this home. The table and chairs are restored by Eugenia, and the overall arrangement inspires us with a chic, charming air. We love how the zig-zag print is carried over to the tablecloth, drapery or ottoman.

And in the living room, which easily connects to the kitchen, there being no door between the functions, we find glimpses of Eugenia's skill again. The armchair at the desk and the coffee table bear her signature once more, as does the lampshade or the flower-shaped decoration on the wall. If you like DIY projects, we'll give you a tip: the lampshade is made from string soaked in resin.

Ingenious, isn't it?
