The series in which we share details from our readers' homes continues today with Ioana's two-room apartment in Bucharest, which was initially a studio.

The total area of 50 square meters was reconfigured. The 40 square meters initially occupied by a single room were transformed according to Ioana's vision into a space that integrates the living area consisting of the living room, kitchen and hallway in 28 square meters, the bedroom in 12 square meters and the terrace with a view measuring 10 square meters.

When I bought it, it was like a large, undivided room with new finishes (being a new building), but classic. However, the large windows and brightness attracted me enough to decide that I would create something beautiful out of it. And so it was.

Passionate about the elegant Parisian style, Ioana designed the concept of the house herself and thought out and carried out the interior design according to her own tastes, adapting the budget to the desire to have her own apartment like those in Paris.

The living room's bold color scheme contrasts with the demure appearance of the kitchen furniture. White walls ensure a harmonious blend between the pink used abundantly and the wooden kitchen countertops. Other strong chromatic accents present in decorative objects and textiles highlight the nonconformity of this design.

In the bathroom, all finishes were replaced and high-quality sanitary ware was added, neutral-toned tiles and floral print faience that adds a romantic touch.

The mix of furniture pieces includes both minimalist pieces from Ikea and extravagant objects collected from antique shops.

Because she loves to travel, Ioana included objects brought back from her own travels in the design: "I like to be surrounded by beautiful memories, they give me positive energy.

We hope this Parisian-style interior design inspires you too!
