Discreet and very welcoming, the second house that opened its doors for The House Story will surely win you over. Built as an urban oasis where the personalities of the tenants meet the relaxation of an eclectic style, this house has all the assets to convince you of the benefits of reinterpreting in your own key.

Color is in its element, light pours freely, and declarative objects mark like exclamation points aesthetic attractions of the rooms. A house is an intimate universe, and we felt wonderful discovering such a place, hidden in the heart of the Capital. We invite you, therefore, home to a Bucharest family, the owner of a dwelling saturated with visual stories.

Built on 3 levels plus a generous attic, the house in today's story is occupied by a family with 2 children.

The living room, furnished in an open space that opens its eyes to the garden through windows, abounds in color – the aquamarine floor invites you to forget everything that has followed you during the day and abandon yourself to relaxation, while the play of textures in the decorative objects will clear your vision.

The couple who live here took care of every stage of the house – design, construction and furnishing belong to them. Great lovers of contemporary art, they chose to decorate the rooms with works discovered in various galleries or artifact stores.

The furniture pieces are purchased from Kare and Ikea, and the paintings are signed by Virgiliu Parghel, Iulian Fratila or Laurentiu Dimisca.

The opening of the space creates a feeling of comfort, and the fact that the entire design has room to breathe contributes significantly to this sentiment.

The kitchen, separated by two sliding doors printed with stylized photos of the children, also received an infusion of color – the fuchsia chandelier, the raw green wall teeming with metallic dragonflies, Piu-Piu fantasy kitchen utensils.

The floor belongs to the bedrooms, corresponding bathrooms and cozy corners for reading. The boy's bedroom warns us from the entrance that we are dealing with a Formula 1 racing enthusiast, fencing and reading. On the windowsill, in a place of honor, are strung together totems collected from travels, in an order only known to the owner.

The girl's bedroom, furnished in fondant shades, is precious and cute – under the suspended bed we found a reading corner, guarded by an army of pillows, and from the wall greets us heroically Princess Mononoke, the cult character of Hayao Miyazaki.

In the parents' bedroom, the color palette enters the neutral ground of white tones, where we notice the result of the passion between reconditioning old furniture pieces and the memory of an avid reader – the feminine side is the author of personalized nightstands with famous quotes.

She also gave a new life to the etageres in the bathroom and some wardrobes which, thanks to the ingeniously applied anime prints, have formed a mini collection that would arouse envy in any otaku.
